Have you ever heard of the TALLGRASS CHAMBER MUSIC FESTIVAL? It is held here, in rural Potosi. It is two weeks of concerts presented by world-renowned artists: June 21-30. You can purchase $10 tickets by using Potosi's ZIP code as a promo code. (I think you need to purchase only 1 ticket per order to get this discount.) Follow them on Instagram @tallgrassfestival or on Facebook at facebook.com/tallgrassmusic

Dear Community Members,
I am blessed to announce that I have been selected to play in the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association All Star Game at JustAgame Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells. I will play in the Division 5 game for the red team on June 27th. I am honored to be selected as one of the top seniors across the state in our division. The main goal of this event is to raise money to fight childhood cancer. All donations will go to the MACC fund. (Midwest Athletes against Childhood Cancer) I would be very grateful if you would help contribute to my online profile. This goes to a great cause.
You can click the link below (or use the QR code) and after you fill out your necessary information, choose "boys player" in step 1 at the bottom of the page and my name in step 2 and then finish the next steps. You can also get a hold of me in person and write a check to WBCA. (Or the check may be dropped off at the high school office.) All donations are greatly appreciated and I thank you in advance. Sincerely, Gavin Wunderlin

Brandon Morely and Jill Wunderlin were recognized by WCASS (Wisconsin Council of Administrators of Special Services) for their exceptional work in our district. Brandon was named Inclusive Educator of the Year for Region 3 and Jill was named Paraprofessional of the Year for Region 3. If you have ever seen either of these staff members working with our special needs students, you would know how AMAZING they are in helping our students be successful. CONGRATULATIONS! Please let them know how lucky we are that they work in Potosi Schools!

Potosi School District’s Brain Health Retreat Room (BHRR) and involvement in using the Choose Love resource were recently featured in SWCAP’s Community Wellness Summit at SWTC in Fennimore. Community organizations from Grant, Iowa, Lafayette, Green, Crawford, and Richland counties were able to learn more about how we’ve implemented the Choose Love wellness resource, and were able to experience a mock BHRR. It was not nearly as amazing as the actual physical space we created with Brain Health Now in our district, but participant feedback shared that it was a welcomed retreat after continuous stressful daily schedules, an intense day of learning, and problem solving about how we can support the stigma around mental health in our communities. We are grateful for this opportunity to share the great things are happening in our school❤️

Join us on Friday around 9am at Potosi HS to send off our State Track Athletes: Oliver, Brielle & Braden!

Congratulations to the Potosi Trap Team on the Spring 2024 Season!
