We’re celebrating Wisconsin’s best educators — the teachers who go above and beyond to make a lasting impact on the lives of students and their communities.
Award recipients will be invited to American Family Field to attend a Brewers game, participate in a special on-field pregame ceremony, and have the opportunity to throw out a ceremonial first pitch.

The Potosi School Board has agreed with the other districts in the Six Rivers Conference urging state government officials to work together to make progress in lowering property tax burdens and to sufficiently fund public schools.

The Potosi Environmental Club is selling Barn Swallow Nest Boxes for $30 each. All proceeds will go to future club projects, field trips, donations, and club t-shirts.
Barn swallows are beautiful birds that arrive each year from Central and South America to nest on human building structures (Cornell University, 2026). They are phenomenal fliers, and are always fun to watch as they zoom around eating flying insects...which is why they are great to have around! Unfortunately, more and more of their nesting sites are falling down or are taken down each year, and that is the reason for our fundraiser this year. Atwood et.al. (2024) has found that placing alternative nesting boxes near an old nesting site helps them maintain their population with little to no negative effect. Let's do our part to keep these beautifully flying, insect eating birds around! Thank you for your support!
