REMINDER: Summer school forms are due MONDAY, MAY 3rd!!!
Free breakfast and lunch will continue for Summer School, which is scheduled for June 10-July 22. Meal must be ordered ahead of time, but will be "Grab & Go", similar to last spring/summer. Your child does not have to attend Summer School to be eligible for the meals. #PotosiPride

The 2021 Potosi Greenhouse Sale will be ONLINE ONLY this year. The availability of plants will be fulfilled in the order in which orders are received. First come, first serve.
At the beginning of the order, you will select your pick-up day and time. You do not need to create an account with School Pay when you order - you can check out as a guest only. When you arrive you will drive to the back of the high school and park. A Potosi High School staff member will greet you and help you your order. This year, we ask that you PAY BY CREDIT CARD to avoid the passing of cash and check to and from customers!

Potosi Elementary School received a generous donation of a picture communication board from UWP students Kali Oyen and Jeanna Rupnow. Kali and Jeanna raised nearly $4,000 to fund 16 boards across schools and parks in southwest Wisconsin so that playgrounds are more inclusive for students with Autism and other communication disorders. The board is a wonderful tool for students to and invite play through the use of pictures. April is Autism Awareness month so what a fitting gift to receive this final week of April!

An exciting addition to the Potosi Elementary School playground! Thanks to a donation from the Potosi Lions Club and the exceptional craftsmanship of Scherrer Construction (Scherrer Cares Buddy Bench on Facebook), this week we added our own “Buddy Bench”. If students need a buddy, they sit on the bench. Then, other students will see them, and try to include them in play. What a great addition to our SEL Program (Social-Emotional-Learning)! This bench is the first of many new additions coming to our playground.

Potosi Junior Prom will be this Saturday at Holiday Gardens! Doors will open at 7pm and the Grand March will be at 8pm. Post Prom will run from 11pm-1am

Students in high school speech class recently concluded their storytelling unit with puppet shows for the preschool class. Students had to take a story, adding an introduction and a teaching conclusion to it while maintaining an expressive tone through various characters.

Mrs. Uppena’s students recently started the Two by Two Kindhearted kids program. During the program, children learn to make good decisions for people, animals, and the environment through the introduction of the Golden Rule: Treat all living things the way you want to be treated.
The Two by Two Mission – developing responsible citizens of strong character who care for, respect and appreciate people, animals and the environment – leads us to the belief that citizens of strong character will not only recognize and embrace core values through our programming, but will act upon and synthesize these values into their daily lives.

This year's musical is "Elf" and it will be presented virtually. The link for the online stream link will go on sale on Friday, April 16th at noon and will work from 7pm on Friday (4/16) through 7pm on Sunday (4/18). Buyers can use the link to watch the show as many times as you want throughout the 48 hour window. But the link will no longer work after 7pm on Sunday.
