Potosi School District

The Potosi Environmental Club had the opportunity to help out our community earlier this month. Volunteer students were able to work with Tom Droessler and Bill Whitaker in raking up sticks and debris after the removal of 17 dead trees at the park. The park is now one step closer to being ready for the fundraiser taking place on 10/8/22. Tom and Bill, we appreciate the opportunity to serve. Kadin Walsh, Jackson Guiney, Logan Rausch, Connor Robbins, and Wyatt Udelhofen, we appreciate you for taking a few hours out of your Saturday to help out!

The Environmental Club participated this past Saturday, 9/17/22, in a Car Wash Fundraiser for the Downtown Driftless Project. Liam Allison, Brayden Hutchcroft, Jackson Guiney, and Ethan Kerkhoff all took time out of the Saturday to help out! A big thanks to them, Larry Kalina, Shirley Shiffman, and Chad & Angele Walsh for helping us raise money for the project! #PotosiPride

As most of you know, the library collects Box Tops for Education and uses the money for books and library supplies. It's an easy way for families to earn money for the school. Please remember that Box Tops are no longer cut out of packages; there is an app that allows you to scan your receipt, and points are awarded to your school. This week is National Box Tops week, so we can earn two times the regular amount through September 25th. Thank you for your support!

POTOSI VOLLEYBALL FUNDRAISER: We are reaching out because we are in the process of raising money for the 2022 season. The money raised will be used for a variety of different needs. Some of the needs include uniform pieces, equipment, summer activities, meals supplied by the program, parents night, senior night, banquet, and help in funding extra coaches when needed. Our goal is to raise $5,000. The volleyball team will be choosing a service activity in thanks to everyone who has donated. More will come on that later. Donations can be made using the link below.
