Potosi School District

The MS Girls' Basketball game for today, Friday, January 12th has been cancelled.

Due to the predicted weather forecast, there will be no school on Friday, January 12th, 2024 for Potosi Schools.

An important message from our District Administrator, Mr. Cohen, about how "virtual instruction days" will be used for any future "snow days." Middle and High School students are expected to check Schoology and school email for instructions from staff for assignments. Extra time will be given to finish these assignments, in case there are any technology issues. An email was also sent out to families.

Good afternoon, Potosi Schools will be closed tomorrow, January 12th. A reminder that Middle School & High School students should check their email and schoology for virtual assignments. Teachers will be available by email to answer questions during the day.

Due to the anticipated weather conditions on Friday, the PC Girls' Basketball game has been moved to Thursday, January 11th AT CASSVILLE. Also, just a reminder that the Boys' Basketball game on Thursday will be VARSITY ONLY and will start at 7pm in POTOSI

Members of the Potosi Environmental Club and AP Environmental science class were working hard on Friday, 1/5/24, sowing native prairie seeds at the Downtown Driftless Park in Potosi. Much of the driftless region was covered in prairie before modern times, and our goal is to help restore a native prairie to the slope and rocky hillside at the Driftless Park. Most of the seeds were purchased from Prairie Moon Nursery, and local prairie enthusiasts, Richard Graef and Jeff Eastlick, contributed seeds as well. Prairies take time to establish themselves, but this summer you will begin to see some of the prairie in bloom. The Potosi Environmental Club appreciates the opportunity to help!
