🌟 Exciting Day in Mrs. Uppena's Class! 🌟 Yesterday was an absolute blast in Mrs. Uppena's class! Thanks to the amazing generosity of Missy Kliebenstein, we got to dive into the world of emergency medicine with all our new gear! 🚑 From crafting vertebrae to performing "Operations" and even giving each other eye exams, we had a hands-on experience like never before. 🩺💡 It was a day filled with learning, laughter, and endless fun! Mrs. Uppena's class was so lucky to have Carson's mom, Rachel Loeffelholz, come in to tell them about her job as a nurse practitioner and to teach us how to do CPR! She's hopes we never have to use it, but if we do, we might save someone's life someday!

Both the MS GBB game vs River Ridge, Illinois and HS GBB at River Valley have been cancelled for today (1/23). The MS Girls' Basketball game vs River Ridge, IL has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 6th @Potosi. The PC HS Girls' Basketball game vs River Valley @Spring Green has been rescheduled for Friday, February 16th

The 6th graders went to "Jackie Robinson: A Game Apart" at the University of Dubuque-Heritage Center to kick off their civil rights unit. The play featured Jackie and other African American athletes fighting racism on the ballfield, between the end zones, inside the ring and around the track. This show was "a powerful lesson of courage through dedication, perseverance and leadership."

Good morning, Potosi Schools will be closed today, January 23rd. A reminder that Middle School & High School students should check their email and schoology for virtual assignments. Teachers will be available by email to answer questions during the day.
