On Thursday, we will read "If I Ran the Zoo" by Dr. Seuss for READ ACROSS AMERICA WEEK! Let's dress up in animal prints or clothing with animals on them.

The Anatomy and Physiology class had the privilege of dissecting hog hearts today. Our main focus was in identifying the various heart structures: right atrium, right ventricle, left ventricle, left atrium, vena cava, aorta, tricuspid valve, aortic valve, pulmonary valve, and the bicuspid valve. We also worked on describing the flow of blood through the heart.

Wednesday, we celebrate Dr. Seuss's book "Fox in Socks"! Wear some silly or mismatched socks to feel like the Fox!

On Tuesday morning, for National School Breakfast week, all students will eat breakfast for FREE! And don't forget about "Donuts with Grown-Ups" at 8am! All week there will be prizes for students who eat breakfast.

Elementary students kicked off Reading Across America Week with “A Wocket in My Pocket” by Dr. Seuss. To challenge their existing knowledge of rhythm, beat, and tempo, students were tasked with rapping the book (Mr. Morley and Mr. Ray also gave it a shot!)
